At The Barlow we continually strive to improve and develop in everything we do. We value feedback and understand the importance of seeking it out so we can continuously improve.
If you have specific feedback about any aspect of our school please contact us by telephone, our reception team will ensure you speak to the appropriate member of staff. Additionally you can attend our Parents’ Forum throughout the school year to learn and to engage in general discussion about new developments and school improvement. Parents’ Hub dates can be found here.
If you would like an opportunity to speak to the Headteacher there are Headteacher’s Surgeries held every half term where you can make an appointment to speak to the Headteacher. Headteacher’s Surgery dates can be found here.
Our complaints policy is available to download above along with a complaints form and information on community concerns and reporting procedures.
SEND Concerns and Complaints
If a parent or carer has any concerns or complaints regarding the SEND Provision for their child they should in the first instance contact the Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion and SEND) Ms R. Seddon (r.seddon@thebarlowrchigh.co.uk) who will investigate their concern.
If the matter is not resolved, the parent or carer should contact Mrs Claire Wallace, Headteacher. Please call the school office to arrange an appointment. Parent or carer can also refer to the school’s ‘Complaints Procedure’ available on the school’s website or by application to the school office.
