Parents’ Hub

Education is always more successful when a school works with parents and carers. The Barlow RC High School’s Parent Hub has been designed to ensure that parents and carers, in conjunction with staff, can have a meaningful influence on both the operation and strategic direction of the school. The school holds Parents Hub meetings throughout the school academic year, this years meetings are on:

2024/2025 Parent Hub Dates – 5:30pm – 6:30pm

Thursday 21st November 2024
Thursday 6th March 2025
Thursday 12 June 2025

There is an open invitation to all parents to attend the Parent Hub but we do ask that you confirm your attendance so we can select a suitable meeting location and order refreshments. Meetings will take place at 5.30pm – 6.30pm. If you would like to attend, please complete the Google form that will be sent nearer the time.

Although not a decision making body, the Parent Hub has the opportunity to influence decisions through an open dialogue. We aim to develop a stronger partnership with parents by improving communication.

Cost of school trips
Parents’ Evenings
School policies
Sex Education
Lockers
Homework Policy
Changes to examinations
Fundraising
